Bonjour! Here I am…blogging once more of yet another country I just visited…the AMAZING BELGIUM. I particularly stayed in the city of Brussels which I may say became one of my favorite cities! Pictures and videos do not do justice as to how beautiful this place truly is.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a bit of rain…but rest assure this did not put a damper on what we were about to experience. After setting our things down at the hotel we quickly gathered our coats, hats and my camera and began to roam the city. All I can say is even on rainy days…Brussels delivered beauty. We were greeted with a smile by everyone we interacted with and my son got a few FREE souvenirs from certain souvenir stores we passed along the way. Just imagine a 4 year olds face when he receives a Belgium CHOCOLATE bar for no reason…just ecstatic and priceless.

Besides the scenery which is to die for…the food was OH SO DELICIOUS. When they say you can’t go to Belgium and not have a waffle of theirs….they mean it. The waffles we had for breakfast and lunch were just….divine. Like seriously…the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life (one of the many waffles I had is pictured above). Lol. The only downside (note really) was the cold weather, I’m your typical Florida girl, so as you can imagine I was freezing with Brussels’ 30 degree weather lol. But other than that Brussels was truly a perfect destination, I do plan to revisit during the summer of 2019, let’s see if I get the opportunity again.

J’taime Bruxelles!♥️🇧🇪

Paris

Bonjour mes amis! Hello my friends!

I figured that my very first travel blog post should start with a dazzling view of one of the most memorable monuments I have seen to date, the Eiffel Tower. A quick small fact about myself, I LOVE TO TRAVEL. The all caps is an emphasis of how excited I get when I speak of traveling lol. I have traveled as far back as to when I was 15 years old, over a decade ago, but when I say EVERY place I visit is an experience, I mean it.  In this post I will solely speak of my short time in the beautiful city of Paris in France. My desire to visit this amazing country started my Sophomore year in high school, where I took two years of French and completely fell in love with their culture. Off course, I faced many obstacles in those high school years that did not allow me to take a much desired trip with my fellow French classmates to France at that time. However, I knew someday in God’s perfect timing, I would get there…and I did.

2017, oh how I loved you. Such an amazing year in which I grew in all aspects of life. The best part of it all is I did it ALL on my own. I worked so hard to be able to afford to take both my 3 year old son (then) and my precious mother to her dream destination. Their happiness my friends…is something that will never have a price.  These photos are just a small spec of what I experienced, but pictures will never do justice, trust me.

Overall the French are amazing & amiable people. Their food is divine (do not leave France without trying  a crepe au nutella) and the scenery is a dream. We did also get a chance to visit the wonderful Parc des Princes, because well….I’m a die hard Football/Soccer fan who likes PSG. We did get lost getting from one city to another when using the train but after a day or two, we were “right on track ” get it? lol. I was very pleased with how I managed to do it all in a short period of time and how our experience turned out. I can assure you I will be back.

J’aime la France. On se voit en 2019!
